Cadre Education of the Communist Party of China in Yan’an Period

Abstract:

The Communist Party of China’s cadre education in Yan’an Period is a pioneering work. A deep understanding of social surroundings and the political status of the Communist Party of China at that time, and an objective analysis on the Party’s basic conditions and demands for development, provided guarantee to the smooth and successful progress of the cadre education which was of great significance in the survival and development of CPC. By combining the characteristics of the times with the missions of the Communist Party, and by integrating theory with practice, cadre education in Yan’an period was of distinctive characteristics. Through the strengthening and improvement of the contents, process, flexibility and efficiency, cadre education brought forth new ideas for educational theories of the Chinese Communist Party and created a unique educational model. This model not only created outstanding cadres for that time, but also provided abundant historical experiences for cadre education, offering realistic significance for cadre education in contemporary era.
